Village Cohousing Works partners with Takesa Village, a resident-owned community in Mead, to provide affordable homeownership opportunities. If you're interested, review the eligibility requirements and complete the application below.
Program Eligibility
To be eligible for the program, applicants should:

Have a household income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) (see income chart).

Have a household income of at least $4,000 per month and manageable debt.

Be committed to making Takesa Village in Mead their long-term home.

Be experiencing a housing need, such as:

Spending more than 35% of household income on housing,

Living doubled up with family or friends, or
-
Having experienced homelessness.

Be willing to complete our homeownership education classes.

Consent to a 7-year background check.

Complete the application process for a manufactured home loan.
